Taming the Turkey Neck

The procedure is ideal for those who are in good health and have good bone structure, aged 30 to 70. It’s performed by strategically placing an incision tucked beneath the chin and out of sight. A tiny, thin, and hollow tube called a micro-cannula is inserted and gently moved back and forth to loosen excess fat. Once the fat is dislodged, it is suctioned out of the neck with a syringe or surgical vacuum attached to the cannula. The entire process takes just 45 to 60 minutes under light sedation and local anesthesia. You may experience some fluid retention and swelling following the procedure, but this will soon subside, revealing the slender contours you forgot you once had.
